I haven't made much progress on my W.I.P. pile thanks to the beautiful weather, but I did piece another top to add to the pile of unfinished quilts (hooray for me!). Months ago I won the Minneapolis Modern Quilt Guild block lotto. I finally pieced the blocks together this week with 3/4" narrow sashing. What do you think? I think it looks so cool. It's great fun working with other people's blocks.

I'm planning to use the same pink plaid fabric for the binding. Once the quilt is finished it's off to Project Linus :)
I love the sashing! Perfect. I myself am outside more and when inside doing my massive spring cleaning. Something about this weather makes me want to clean my house from top to bottom! Inside and out! :D
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I'm still in the "ugh, this house is a mess" phase, but I did buy some cleaning products this week so I hope that counts for something.
DeleteYahoo for the finish!
ReplyDeleteThis is very cute.
ReplyDeleteI agree on the weather - January and February were like March - and now it is like May! I feel like we mostly missed winter - which means I lost all my "sulk around inside and quilt" time - I'm missing it for sure. Call me crazy, but I like all four seasons ;) !
Fantastic. I love seeing all of our blocks playing together!
